Florian Alexandru-Zorn (Germany)
Im Alter von 18 spielt Alexandru-Zorn das erste Mal auf einer Europa Tour im Rahmen eines Weltmusik-Projektes mit Namen Esfahan. Romuald Erenc (einer der führenden klassischen Gitarristen von Polen) ist Mitglied dieser Gruppe. Erenc hat sich entschieden, die songs nur in einem Duo zu spielen mit klassischer Gitarre und Schlagzeug. Das war der Moment, wo Alexandru-Zorn tief in die Welt von “brushplaying” abtauchte.
Im 2008 veröffentlichte er sein erstes Buch auf dem europäischen Markt über “brushplaying”. Dieses Buch ist weltweit erschienen und setzte einen neuen Standard in der “brush technique”.
Im Jahre 2011 folgte der Launch von seinem Buch “The Complete Guide to Playing Brushes” in den USA. Im Jahre 2012 ist seine Doppel-DVD “The Brush Secret” weltwelt erschienen.
Alexandru-Zorn ist ein Professor an der Popakademie Manheim und hat also an der Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA) und der Malta Music University unterrichtet.
Alexandru-Zorn played his first eastern European tours with a worldmusic project called Esfahan at age of 18 . Romuald Erenc (one of the leading classical guitarists in Poland) is a member of that group. Erenc decided to play his songs in a Duo only with classical guitar and drums. That was the moment when Florian delved deeper and deeper into the world of brush playing.
In 2008 he published his first book in the European market about brush playing. It’s now published worldwide and has set a new standard in brush technique.
In 2011 the launch of his book "The Complete Guide To Playing Brushes" in the USA. In 2012 his new double DVD "The Brush Secret" was released worldwide.
Alexandru-Zorn is a Professor at the Popakademie Mannheim and has also taught at the Los Angeles Music Academy (LAMA) and the Malta Music University.
